Scuba</a> diving is the island's main tourist attraction, and with this incident, <a href="http://www.whitsundaydive.com.au/scuba-diving.html" rel="nofollow">Whitsunday scuba diving</a> was dead for quite some time - but more importantly, the Great Barrier Reef is scarred! Note that when I say scarred, I mean a total injury! According to scientists, it would take 30 years for the damage to heal. Another blog also says that the great reef will only last for 40 years before it gets destroyed completely by Global warming.
